POINTS

To earn points individuals must have been shown at any of the Mesquite Championship Rodeo Texas Longhorn Steer Show qualifying events.

Points are awarded to Jr. and Sr. Champions (5 pts.), as well as Res. Jr. and Res. Sr. Champion (3 pts.). Additionally, points are awarded to Overall (10 pts.) and Res. Overall Champions (8 pts.).

The individuals in each division (Standard Junior Steer, Standard Senior Steer, Miniature Junior Steer, and Miniature Senior Steer) that earn the most points during the qualifying season will be awarded at the qualifiers event in July of each year. ​

Only the TOP 5 Individuals in Point Standings will be invited to attend the 2025 Qualifier Event. As Individuals inform us of their ability to attend, we will move down the point standings and invite those next in line.
