MCR - AG NIGHT - TL SHOW

First hosted by 2T Longhorns, Tessa Tronzano, during her youth career. In 2021, the rodeo approached Norris Productions and The STCC Brand with the idea of bringing it back, and the event was a huge success, bringing in breeders and exhibitors from far East Texas to deep South Texas. In 2022, we selected 10 Open Haltered Steer events on the TLBAA, ITLA, and CTTLA show circuits to qualify steers for the event. Additionally, we set up a point system in which qualifying steers earn points and compete for season-high point steers in their respective divisions. ​In previous years, awards have been given to Overall and Res. Overall Champion Steer, Jr. and Sr. Division Champion Steer, Jr. and Sr. Division Champion High Point Steer. As well as Best Dressed Showman, Overall Champion Showman, and Division Champion Showmen.

In 2024, we look forward to adding miniature steers to the qualifier and point system and having them join us at the 2025 qualifier event for the first time; additionally, we look forward to the ability to award miniature breeders and exhibitors in addition to Standards.
